What Kind of Activities did your Child want to join this Summer?

Last summer my daughter did gymnastics and loved it so much she continued threw the year. I wish that I could find a painting class for her in this area as she loves crafts. My boys try to find odd jobs over the summer as they are now at the ages they want money. One will participate in a basketball camp and the other in wrestling and football camp.

There is not much in our area for children to do over the summer so the only one who came to me so far to ask to do something was my son . He really wants to join soccer this year but it costs seventy five dollars to put him in and we have to go away this summer as we are going to my sisters wedding and I know more things will come up and he will end up missing time and I just can't afford to spend seventy five dollars for something that I know I am not going to be able to get him to all the time . I feel so bad because he really wants to do this and can't figure out why they have to charge so much in our area when the cildren want to get involved in things .

My six year old wants to play soccer really bad. I dont think thats going to happen. He was diagnosed with a bad case of Asthma and when he runs it really acts up. I think we will just stick to museums and stuff,we have a lot of things to do. He is really into science so we will probably visit the planetarium as well

my daughter is singed up for soccer which starts next week and she is currently in gymnastics as well that will still last anouther 2 months. right now she is in dance but that ends in 2 weeks.

I have tried to encourage my daughter to enroll at the summer youth activities center down the street. She hasn't yet found what she wants to do. Right now she is volunteering at the store I work at. It is a non profit thrift store and they take many volunteers. She likes working there with the ladies and it is better than running the streets! So that is so far her plans for the summer.
