What exactly do you want to know about it, and what province are you looking to find out about?
Health care in Canada varies from province to province. I'm familar with Ontario since that's where I live.

Most of it is, depending on the services you need to use.
Some provinces have private healthcare and that's a pay per use thing, similar to the U.S.

As one of the other members said...it varies from province to province. When we lived in Kenora, Ontario we couldn't find a doctor to treat us there were so many shortages.
When we came back to Manitoba, our home province we have received very good care with no complaints. We live in a small rural community with excellent access to physicians, medical tests, treatment...with no long waiting periods. There is no problem in having consulations with specialists when needed...so we feel very fortunate. Others have not had the same experiences...so each case is different.
However, I still think every country should have universal health care so everyone regadless of their social standing receives the care they need. If you want to learn more...check out the Movie by Micheal Moore...Sicko...he gives a lot of information about Canada's system.

When you paid 15% of your income to the gov, they will give the healthy card to you. Goverments will use the part of the tax money to pay for the doctors and you will get the free hospital.
