I do not know about you but my taxes are killing me. Everything is taxed your income is taxed and it takes to Jan thru May to pay the income taxes if you were to pay them all up front. This year I owe over $1100 to the gov in addition to all the taxes they already take from me.I have to borrow the money to pay them. What makes it hard to take is they will just waste that money too. They think nothing to blow billions of our tax dollars.

I worked for a total of 10 days in 2006, I got hurt, and I got like a total of 10 dollars back from the government, my thoughts were hey at least it's something.

I am a fixed income earner and taxes due are being withheld very payday. If even I earn commission on my other part-time activities, taxes are being withheld also. So, I have never experienced having to pay additional when it is time for me to file. Most of the time I am exempted from filing because my taxes due were always equal to the taxes that my employer withheld from me.

I have to pay almost $900 this year. Doesn't seem like much, but it does when I tell you my GROSS income for last year with 2 part time jobs and unemployment benefits only totalled $22,580!
I am the ONLY 23 year old I know that has had to pay income tax twice.
Wow. Thanks Revenue Canada.
