For me Iris by Goo Goo Dolls and Angel by Sarah Mclachlan. I like Iris coz' it's very meaningful and it was truly a great song! I'm so happy the song had the same name like me. :)
I like Angel because it sets the mood for loneliness and self-reflection.
Anyway, how about you?
Are there any tracks you liked in the movie?
Do you like U2's 'If God Would Send His Angels"?
Feel free to voice out.

Iris is one of my favorite songs and City of Angels is also there in my top ten best film of all time. I agree with most members here that Iris perfectly reflects the movie from beginning to end. It's one of those film and OST combination that actually complements each other. You'd remember the song because of the film and you'd remember the film because of the song.

You have a point there. I remember the movie much because of the song, and secondly for its plot. It was nice that they made Iris as their OST for City of Angels, even if the title and the song didn't really much pinpointed the angels concept, it still fits well.
Thanks for your comment.

Hmmm... City of Angels is one of my favorite movies.^_^ I also love the songs in this movie. I like Iris of Goo Goo Dolls, since I am a fan of the band, and the lyrics of the song fits the movie (that's my opinion..^_^). I also like the Song Angel, or In the Arms of the Angel by Sarah Mclachlan... I really love that song, and I used to sing it everyday, while walking along the corridors at the school, taking a bath, or taking a break or something.^_^ It's one of the songs that touches the heart, and I love Sarah's voice very much.^_^ I believe she has this unique quality of voice.. and I like it!^_^

That's a nice answer! I agree with you. From my opinion too, it fits the song well and since I am a fan of Goo Goo Dolls too I liked how they composed it just for the movie!
Sarah McLachlan's voice is really soothing for the soul. I always sing the song 'Angel' too - in the bathroom while taking a bath, singing myself to sleep or while reminiscing the days that became unforgettable to me. The song has a great tune, and you can follow it right away. Once you hear it, you'll never get yourself to forget it.
I strongly agree her voice has the unique quality because it sets the mood for the listeners.
Thank you so much for your answer!
I loved the way how you describe your response.
Thanks again and have a good day!

Hi Iris! :)
Iris and Angel are my favorite. I also like If God Would Send His Angels by U2 and Uninvited by Alanis Morisette.

I love the whole soundtrack. It's simply different! But what I loved most is the IRIS by The Goo Goo Dolls. The meaning really hit me. As if that i want to do the same thing and give up forever or something for someone worth it!
