If you have nothing else to do all day, i guess you can make a few dollars each day (one earlier discussion mentioned 70 posts = approx $1.00...
i do not have that kind of time to spend here...i have two part time jobs and prolly manage to get 10-20 posts in a day if i am lucky...
another thing you might want to consider that most writers don't get paid a whole lot anyways...i was writing 500 words for $3- and i have seen as low as $1.50 being offered for a 500 word article...thats crazy! but there are so many writers and well, that seems to be the going rate...
why do i come to mylot? i enjoy reading the discussions and have posted a few of my articles and have made some great friends here, thats why i come here...its much better than a chat line and you get a little bit of cash on the side as well...

No, I don't think so. I don't have any referrals that would make us easier to earn a few pennies here. But just like you, I am just enjoying being here. I don't even have the time to chat already, just mylotting everyday. I learned a lot of things here and I can also express what I am feeling here. It's just like a give and take relationship between me and mylotters. I am happy getting responses from the discussions I have started and also respond to discussions here.

I didn't expect to make a lot of money on MyLot, but what I have made on here has been greatly appreciated, My MyLot earnings have kept me in coffee money for a good long time, a little money I can spend on myself, and myself alone.

If you enjoy writing articles you should try AC. They require 400 words and pay averages from $5.00 to $10.00.

As a busy stay at home mom, I don't have the time to put in 100 posts daily. But, when I first started, I did. I noticed that I made more money then, too.
But, my biggest earnings have come from starting winning discussions that lots of people respond to.
So, guess that's the trick to making money on My Lot.
Someone else mentioned that you can earn more money by uploading your photos when you start a discussion and rating the other member discussions.
You're right about writers not getting paid a lot. Even on the freelance websites, they don't want to pay people more than $5.00 or so per job.
And, a job might take several days to complete.
Just easier to post on My Lot. It doesn't require any expertise. Just opinions! And, lots of fun!

i also like mylot because although the payout may seem less, its more fun and more mindless than writing an article lol!! :-)
i was writing for awhile and getting $3- / 500 words and while i enjoyed it and did an article in about an hour or so, this is much more fun lol!

No..
Although i do like earning, I don't think I've ever expect to earn much here and although i've said that I am happy with what I do earn.
I've seen people moan about only getting 40 cents I normally get higher than that from posting 20-30 posts.
I'd like to help more though which is why I'm studying what I earn and some close friends. ~Joey

I joined mylot.com in January of this year. I enjoyed it for awhile then left, in early February a little bit out of disgust. I have not made much money here at mylot.com, only .78cents for 31 posts, but bottom line is this; many people are confused as to how mylot.com works.
To begin with, none of the referrals, I sent throughthe mylot.com site reached my friends! I had to go and manually email them all again with the link. This was time consuming and frustrating. Emails about questions I had, were never responded to by mylot.com staff which infuriated me anymore.
There is good information and discussions on this site, and a lot of good people!!!! I;m going to give it another go for awhile, but I won't be on this site all day everyday either.

No its just 10 dollars for two month of reading and writing discussions. I don't think this is much money.
But is is also fun to read some discussions. Some are very imaginative.

Hi there,
My time on MyLot is basically spent for a couple of reasons. First of all, I enjoy reading and responding to the discussions. If I did not I do not think I would stay. Secondly, the cash back for responding is small, but every little bit counts. When it is added to that obtained from participation on other boards, it begins to add up. Howver, I do not expect to get rich from MyLot alone, that much is for sure.
cheers,

Frankly speaking I am here to make money and money. Manyc of you may think that I am a jerk. Before any thought gets into your mind let me give some introduction of my problem. I am 21 years old and doing my B.Tech in computer science. Being a hardcore computer student I still use a PII 500MHZ pc and lazy dial up connention and mobile costing 10$ which has no features other than phoning. My father retired 2 years ago. My mom is still in a service but she have to pay for 7 of our family members' food because she is the only erner here.
I cannot buy a P4 because it will give extra financial pressure to my mom.
When i see my friend playing games and having fun with their Pentium dual core machines. I really feel very sad. I want to earn money and lots of money to help my mom and my family and by a sofoticated computer for me. After this if you feel i am a jerk then certainly i am.

I am a newbie here, at first my objective is to earn money but once i started checking out the discussions, i think earning money might not be the only thing you want to achieve at mylot. If you enjoy voicing out your opinions, sharing views or experiences. checking out mylot can be worth it.

Actually, if you will do it as a work then maybe you can earn half of a regular worker with average salary will earn in a month. But for us who have other secular jobs, i don't think you will earn good here THOUGH you can keep this money for like 2 months to 3 and add up to your savings.

I personally don't expect to make a lot of money from MyLot (maybe enough for a tank of gas once the year is done? lol). But it is fascinating to see what people from other cultures/regions/countries have to say about issues that affect us all.
