Tell me about your first love...

First, I love Ireland! I so want to live there someday and that accent, oooo la la! Ok enough of that. My husband is my first real love. I had guys before him I was intrigued with, but it never lasted more than a month at most. Now my husband I met him when I was 11 and started to get the hots for him when I was 19. He felt like I was like a sister to him, :0( and broke my heart. So I just kept my feelings to myself after that until I was 25. Then once again I professed my love for him and this time around, the jerk responded positive. Now we have been married for 9 years. I consider him my first love and my last.

I not lucky in this department. I am a college going guy and met my first love there, but unfortunately it could not proceed further and remained one sided. I had a crush on a beautiful girl , i was attracted to her beautiful deep blue eyes and pink lips, her face as divine and pure as an angel ,she seemed to me like goddess of love. Wished cupid strucked her for me.From my first year till the end of my college life i only gazed n gaze at her..................i still love her but ...............................

my first love was when i was 16-he was 5 years older than me, but my parents were not worried, as he was the son of their best friends. He just swept me right off my feet. I fell so hard for him! He told me he loved me, and all that stupid stuff when you first start to date. He broke my heart totally, and to this day i can still remember his break up words! 28 years later-how stupid am i? anyway, i see him around once in awhile, hes married and has 4 kids, im married have 3 kids, and sometimes in the back of my mind, i still remember the days when we were together, and wonder.....Just how lucky i am to have who i married.

LOL! Can I remember that far back? OK - I was 15 and at school - he was 19 and in his 2nd year at the local University. He had his own car and played bass guitar in a Uni. rock band. His name was Clive, and he had an English Father and a Russian Mother, which was somewhat of a coincidence as I am half English/half Russian too! I thought it was so cool, because most of my girlfriends were going out with boys our own age,and it made me feel important to be picked up in his car instead of waiting for the bus - LOL! People in the UK can't drive til they are 17!!! Like you, I lost my virginity to him - and it was good - I'm glad I didn't have some horrid "fumbling" experience with a schoolboy my own age! We dated for over a year, but eventually split up because he began to study more at Uni. for his Finals, and I was also studying for my important school exams, so we decided neither of us wanted a relationship a that time. We are still friends though. He lives in the North of England, so we don't see each other that much, but we always exchange Christmas and Birthday cards etc. and the occasional phone call. He's divorced with 3 teenage children, and now lives with his new partner and they have a young son. He and my present partner have met and we all get on fine. I even still occasionally listen to old tapes of his old band!!! Nice discussion - thanks.

Hello,marie2473,i did not have good experience in my first love(also the only one),i had been cheated by my exboyfriend. He treated me nice when i met him at the beginning,I felt like he was a good guy and fell in love with him,i had been with him for around 2 years. When times went by,he treated me worse and worse,and finally i discovered that he got another lady and i broke up with him. It was a sad thing as i gave everything to him but i end up with disappointment.

My current boyfriend is my first love, and hopefully, the last. We're officemates and the funny thing is, we already met each other in college but just couldn't remember it when we saw each other at work. The schools we went to during college were right across each other and his friends were friends with mine. I really don't know what attracted me with him because the truth is, I've dated a lot of cuter guys. LOL. But the thing is, when I saw him come inside the room, I thought, "I wish he's unattached". Well, we go to talking and after spending a lot of time together, we ended up going steady.

hmm my first love happened when i was in school..cant exactly call that love.kinda a big time crush.. met her and then we deveoped a good friendly relationship..then i realized we are jus freinds... my first and my last love by all means came my way the very next year..in school... havent found the correct opputunity to propse..bu i m plannig to do now a it ha been good 4 years of keeping the feeling deep in heasrt...

Yes everybody gets to experience first love and truly they never end up the way we wanted or hoped to.Ive meet my first love way back 1994 i really love him and vice versa, weve met through my cousin in law.For me ive felt that we are together for how many months eventhough weve only been steady for 3 months.Unfortunately he have to come home to his hometown (Mindanao)to find greener pasture and he meet another girl.Yes it had cost me tears and even heartaches,coz its not easy and i felt that he cheated me.But life has to go on and i have to give myself a second chance to fall over again..:)

My first true love was working with me in the same place. Well it took us two months to understand that we want each other, he just came to my house to give me somthing at midnight, because he lived near me, well he stayed till the morning talking to me. and after that it lasted for a few years:)

My first love was an older guy I met at a local "hangout". I was 15 and he was 19. He had long hair and facial hair and when my mom met him she freaked out thinking he was even older than he was. My entire family ended up liking him almost as much as I did and made friends with his mother. We broke up but ended up hanging out all the time anyway so it was almost like we were still together. Nothing regrettable happened and he was my first.

I was 15, and my friend had a crush on a boy I knew, well, actually I think she liked his car. He had a convertable. One day she made me call him and tell him we wanted to hang out with him and his friends. He showed up and took us cruising in his car. He started showing up several times a week with his friends to hang out and one night he brought his older brother. I had known these boys since I was 8 years old, and even though the older brother was four years older than me, we had at one time been really close friends. That night that he showed up, we sat together in the car and talked and caught up, then the next thing I knew his arm was around me and he was kissing me. That summer was one of the best in my life, he was so sweet and romantic. Then one day, he broke up with me and left me brokenhearted. Years later, we ran into each other, by this time he was married and had a child, and I was married with three children. But we did talk, and he told me he always regretted breaking up with me. Sometime after that talk, I met his wife, and she is so sweet and so perfect for him, and I am happy for him. Funny, even though he was my first love, I think of him more like a big brother that I am fond of than anything else.

I love my college friend Gayathri more. Other than my parents she is the one love me and like me very much. Still i love the day with her
