How many icons are on your desktop?

I was looking at a friends computer today and she has NOTHING on her desktop on her computer. I look at mine and I have icons all the way across the screen. How many icons do you have on your desktop? What are they for?

I have thirteen on my desktop. Not too many. Couple are folders, there's the recycling bin, and a couple text documents I've been too lazy to move.

I have nothing on my desktop because I turned my desktop off :) If I do turn it on I have like 120+ icons on it. They consist of files that I'm too lazy to put in their respective folders.
