kind of strange, im a little confused. Did Alfred use that machine first and duplicate himself? or did he have a twin brother..?

i wondered the same thing...the guy did say he made two machines...so its possible that he was not really a twin since birth...i'm not sure...i want to watch it again though...awesome movie...
