I respect people who believe in gods. I think long before the time of the prophets, people long long time ago had already believe in gods. It's more like a tradition to respect the nature. That's why I don't blame people who believe in gods. They respect the nature with gods concept. I think they also understand the God concept that there's one thing that controls the universe, the thing that some people call God.
I think people who believe in gods are more earthly like they have such tradition or celebration to the nature, the humanrelationship is better I think because it's not more like a horizontal relationship to the power upon them. While in "official" religion it's more vertical relationship to God.
People in India, Greece, China, Egypt, etc have gods in their life currently and previously in the past. And that doesn't make them a sinful people. Instead many great discovery are from there, like basic technologies, etc.
How about you all? What do you think of gods?

I believe in a force or God if you want to call it that, I do not have a religion or believe in religion. I am Agnostic. To me religion and things like that is insane. How can anyone really believe in one set of ideals?

I think that gods did exist, not that they had physical powers as the greek legends say but the stories do teach lessons etc and it would not be just some made up book, i myself believe that some gods exist and some don't its just purly on where your brought up and in what environment your in that decides your persepective on this.

well i am a muslim and i believe in only one God , the creator and the king of this universe. i dont believe in the trinity concept, and neither in multiple Gods. how can there be so many gods? if there were whole of this universe would have fallen apart, they would have misunderstandings among themselves. On the Day of Judgement everything will be cleared for everything , and truth will come in front.

Thanks very, very much for sharing and your opinions. Would it ever occur to you that people created religion and its rules? That people who preach might interprete the teachings wrong and use such teachings for their own good. God is good but people are not always good. The thing is to respect people's ideas and beliefs, like people respect your belief and religion.
I'm a Catholic. But I respect moslem people for what they belief in, like 5 times praying time though they don't have trinity concept. Religion is people's way to communicate with God and iy divers people but it make our life unique, the diversity. I learn the good things of every religion. And I don't worship my religion for it but God.
I think people these days worship their religions more than God. Once again, thanks.

I believe in more than one "God". I believe that there is a spiritual energy that corresponds with every aspect of humanity and the Universe. These spiritual energies are "Gods/Goddesses", and each of these demi-gods are an extension of the one God/Goddess. They are rulers over the different "departments" of the Universe and we can call on them when we need help in their specific department.
I don't follow any specific religion or belief system, but I believe there is wisdom to be found in all of them. If anything I am most drawn to Paganism, where a belief in the lesser gods is present.

I believe in the existence of one God the Father, the almighty one. I believe that there is a God the Son, the saviour of the world and the ultimate judge. I also believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit of God for the Bible speaks of it as the one guiding force for all of us to goodness and being one with God in His endeavors. Nature is God's work, everything about it, we must worship the one from whom all these things have emanated, God. It will be wise never to forget this.

Primitive people and we indians consider all the things in nature are made up of five elements ether, air, sun, water, earth.and we worship these things as god also saints also found out that if you studey just one cell in the universe you can learn all the things about the universe.to check a bowl of rice cooked you dont have to check all the bowl only a single rice will do like that to know the universe whaat it is made of etc you just study yourself that is enough and if you have got form ,the god also has got a form.people who are become more towards god when they love others ,loving others will increase positive energy inside you which will help them to lead a stress free disease free worry free life.those people who care about only self .will suffer .but i do want to knwo more about god.i think people who listen to their heart rather than to mind or head seems to be more godly only coz heart is the sign of love.mind wil always go after possessions, cravings, more and more things fame etc .

The primitive man didn't have any concept of God.They were ignorant regarding the natural phenomena as rain, thunder, wind, ocean, sun, moon etc. They thought it to be super powers. With the passage of time they started worshipping them. When more and more time passed they added seceral rituals to it and personified it.Even today you can find personified God of fire, rain, etc in several religions.
It may be that a super intelligent power is regulating the universe. It is this power, which is beyond the imagination of human being, personified as God and worshipped.
This is as far as I think of God.
Thanks

I think people just believe in Gods so they dont have to think that this is the only life they have and thats it. I dont believe in God because many different cultures believe in very different things. Just like the Greek Gods, they were so big back in the day but then it just faded out, how come? They weren't real then right? So no I dont believe in anything but for people that do, I guess thats nice. I guess believing keeps alot of evil at bay because they dont want to sin.
