My husband takes an active role in raising our girls. He missed out on a lot of his son's life and when he got to adopt my daughter (who he has raised since she was two) he was thrilled!! He does a great job with our girls. He has them spoiled as he buys them anything that they want, but he has taught them so much. My 16 year old is restoring a 74 Volkswagen Bettle that he has helped her get started on and my 10 year old can ride a four wheeler and she can fill it with gas on her own and can make some adjustments on it. She is handy in the garage to hand him tools and stuff like that. He helps them with school work and has always helped them with sceince projects etc.
