How Do You Like Your Meat Cooked?

Rare, medium rare, well done, or burnt. When I go to a resturant, I have to say burnt to get it the way I can eat it. If I cut into my meat and see pink, for me, it is not done.
If I cut into my meet and see blood, (which I never have)I would see myself to the door. There is something about meat that makes me cringe when it has not been practically cooked to death.

Well, rozie37, if you are referring to beef, I never order it so let's not talk about that. If you are talking about chicken, they never ask me about that, but I have got it once before where I saw blood. It did disgust me and they gave me the meal for free, plus they provided me with a different meal. As with any other meat I want it to be cooked all the way, no blood or anything like that.

I grew up eating most meats well done. It was the way my dad used to eat up, but it was also part of how he grew up because when he grew up it had to be cooked all the way to be thought safe to eat.
Now it is safe to eat meats rarer then before, and I usually eat things medium, I can't go much less then that although my brothers eat things rare and medium rare. Pink is ok, but red or bloody is not done.
