it's true mommies that breastfeeding to kids can make your body thin..while on breastfeeding, it can burn 200-400 calories, just like biking for 1hour..it's amazing right? it was proven and tested for many mothers like me.. start breastfeeding right now...thanks for the response

It was true for me! When I got pregnant with my oldest, I weighed 145 (I'm 5'11"). I gained almost 50lbs (yikes!) but then quickly got down to 138ish post partum. Then when I got pregnant with my son, I only gained around 35lbs and only 9 weeks post partum, I'm down to 128. :o I haven't been this thin since jr. high.

My wife is b_reastfeeding my son at this very moment and she has not put up any weight since then. I guess it is true that b_reastfeeding mother can enjoy those slim looking figure even right after giving birth. *I have to put the b_ since myLot is filtering my content.

Wow,I've never heard this. It doesn't make sense to me, since it's not a real workout. If anything the baby's suckling is the only workout being done.

I've heard of this before. It can be true for those that eat right and/or have a high metabolism, but some woman may have not be able to lose the pregnancy weight with just nursing alone. I could be considered lucky as I never gained a lot of weight when I was pregnant with my kids. I gained less than average (12 lbs) with my first son, due to having a bad cold when I was carrying him) and I gained the average amount (about 27 lbs? I cannot remember right now) with my second pregnancy. I nursed both my babies well beyond the year mark, but I never slimmed down completely and almost 7 years after my second son was born I still have some fatty areas. :P Oh well, I can always exercise and eat right to get my body where I want it.
