If you were labeled in school (a dork, easy, a prep, etc.) how did it effect

your life as an adult? I was watching revenge of the nerds and it got me thinking about how things were when I was in school. I was labeled both a freak and easy just because I identified with guys better than I did girls my own age(which was bad since I went to an all girls school)and I had a bit of a panic issue that caused the "freak" label. I don't think that I have had any ill effects from this labeling now. I still relate better to guys than I do girls even though I do have female friends. Anyway, I was just wondering if any of you had any kind of story related to this.

Hi Texassulcatas, I was labled a book worm because of the obvious...I love to read. I never felt bad about my love of reading and my friends did not make fun of me but they said I read too much. I hung out with boys more because girls were a pain in the neck, always gossiping and fighting. My girlfriend in school was like me and to this day we both have close male friends and read a few books weekly. Very good discussion, take care...
