Which is better?

Please choose between "Tuesdays with Morrie" and "The Purpose Driven Life". I want to give my mother a gift for her birthday and I can't decide what to choose. She just said she would love the idea of reading and that made me consider a book as a present..Thanks!

i am interested more in novels than self-help books so i definitely choose "tuesdays with morrie" its a very touching story and a pleasant read through and through. i also have a copy of "the purpose driven life" but i did not finish reading it. i don't think i read even half of it. i dunno, maybe i'm not just into it.

I am not a big book reader but my daughter-in-law just got done reading Tuesdays with Morrie and she said it was a very good book. She is not much of a reader either. She told me I should read it.
