Before Constantin, the emperor of Rome and the Romans are vigorously persecuting the Christians in Paul's time. When Paul was converted he manage to free himself to the wordly life that he once live.No matter how hard they persecute the christians, the christians manage to grow by numbers. And Constantin knowing this decided to embrace christianity and proclaim it as the official religion of Rome and his conquered territory.I personally believe that the original christians like Bernabe and Paul plus the original followers of Jesus are not included in this new christian believers that Constantin has managed to put up.In other words this Constantin led Christians are different from the Paul and Peter led christians.I might be wrong but if Paul is still alive in that moment he should be the logical choice to be the leader of the christians,or if Paul is dead by that time he must have appointed one leader that he knows and trust. The question is why did Constantin and his ministers appointed the leaders of this church in a religion that he is totally alien to its teachings and faith.According to historians, he was converted when he was in his deathbed. It means only one thing,he doesn't believe in catholicsm that he and his ministers invented. He is forced to embrace christianity to save the declining glory of the Roman empire. Now the glory of Rome is still very much alive, thanks to the Vatican the last remnant of a glorious empire.Care to share your thoughts.

Well if you follow the refutation to Christianity by Gnosisquest, you'll learn that much of what is considered the infallible word of GOD is actually much the work of man. No man is perfect but many of us are good and many want the world to be better. In order to have a better world for our children we have to make the world better for other people's children. Now that leads us to the other problem, there are many good people working hard to provide for their families, this puts stress and strain on the working class and they might be forced into a situation where the children don't get the needed attention that creates good healthy parent and child relationships.
Creating healthy parent child relationships is the key to having children to grow up and become good parents and good workers that help others and their children.
The Church pulls apart at the seams the fabric of family and relationships. Let us look at the overall impact of the church on our global environment. Let's follow the carbon footprint of the Church.
Let's also consider the huge amounts of resources used to fill churches with books and pamphlets along with the space used that could be housing for the poor.
There was a time when the concept of organizing into small groups was good for society but this church has become big business and it is not in the best interest of government for the people or by the people to bow to an institution that has allowed such decay to flourish in society. The church had a responsibility to take care of the poor and the widow and widower. Today the church is about growing larger in the community and fails to protect the rights of the individual.
It is time to archive the Church built with the hands of man, and search out the real true church, that leads straight to the heart of GOD.

I personally believe that the great church of Rome is mainly the source of all the sufferings of mankind. With the political power and might of Rome in those days, the business of the known world is at their hands. The money system is at their hands. When he{Vatican} has produced enough wealth he controlled the whole Europe and eventually the whole Americas. Many wars in my own opinion are financed by the Vatican to control the whole world religiously and politically. In these days in my own opinion wars are implemented by the superpowers with the backing of the Vatican.Remember that they are the largest religion in the world and all catholic countries are giving them donation money or whatsoever it is called. You can imagine how many billions are in their vault. You think they just store it in their vault, they should use it in business, and with billions they are capable of waging war secretly.

Sounds to me like you need to join the very first Protestants-- the Unitarians. They left the Romans behind during the Council of Nicea where some of these items you have a problem with were discussed and 'decided' upon.
The Unitarians, named becuase of their rejection of the then accepted but heretical teaching of the Trinity went mostly into exile in Transylvania. Many of them keep those original traditions to this day.
However, more to the point, you remind me of the Pharisees and the Sad's who were more interested in the letter of the law, than whether it was ok to heal on the Sabbath.
