does anyone can control the stock market?

I think it can control by someone,because there are a lot of bluff on stock market.Otherwise it wouldn't boost abnormally.Those people take advantage of people's desire of money and swindle money.So the samll investors should be careful on the stock market.

There must be balance between the control and free market. None of them must be prevalent. But this is a question of the goverment`s policy.

In mosrt countries, the stock market can be controlled by some entities, like financial company or some funds. Money is power, if you have enough economic power, you will have your words in stock market. However,in countries where stock market haven't grow mature, I think government is an importmat factors; In other words, the stock market is controlled by government.
