Can you play chess well?

I don't understand that game at all. My husband has a chess board and I told him to teach me. Everytime we play I get a big headache, so I stopped playing. LOL

i do play chess and i am on an intermediate(?!) level. i usually play online with some of my friends. i like playing with them because they give me the chance to win. sometimes, they also share their strategies and secret 'tips' on winning. it is easy to learn as long as you get to practice it. though it is really boring at times, especially if your partner take so much time in doing moves.

Hello tangerine!(",) Thanks for adding me as your friend!(",) I know how to play chess. I know the rules and the moves but, I can say that I'm not that good in playing it. I need constant practice to master the game. When I have the time, me and my sister, play chess to bond and for recreation, too. It's one way to relax and use your brain somehow. These days, we seldom play chess because we have been busy with work and other stuff. Hope that I can practice again soon so that I'll be able to defeat my sister who is a better player than me. i am not a good chess player. As a smakll child I was far better at chess than I am today. My dad and I used to play chess alot when I was growing up. But then it got to a point where I did not enjoy it much anymore - now i feel i do not have the patience to think ahead all the time during a long game - and so I'll loose all the time, and that is no fun. I am a bit better at chinese chess - but far from an expert. I can beat my boyfrind though!
