sad/glad about Melinda

yup! very disappointing. i've read in an article that women singers these days who become popular have good-looks and a hot body. which means that old women who only have great voices are not enough. i didn't watch the whole season of AI, only the part where the 3 of them, Blake, Melinda and Jordin, were the only last ones standing. And I liked Melinda because her voice was good and she was simple. I really wished she won because she could represent those dreamers who can live simple and attain success, those who are not social climbers and trying-hards.

Well, even if she was voted off. It really don't matter. She had for talent exposed, and music companies always look at AI for new upcoming stars people like. Don't matter if you win or not. Almost all of them get contracts anyways.

I was most definitely shocked when they said that she was going home. I could not believe it and thought I was having a nightmare. There is no way that Blake should be moving on as he is not as talented as Melinda. Melinda is much better and should have made it to the final two for sure. I was happy that Jordin made it to the finals and feel that she will win now. If Melinda had made it, Melinda probably would have won. But Melinda will definitely get offers all over and will have a wonderful and successful singing career.

I think Melinda has a great voice, but I also think that no matter what genre she sings she sounds the same and i do think thats why she also got voted off. I am sure that she will go far no matter what... I hope that Jordin will win this year, I think she is a great singer and at the age of 17 she´s even more amazing =)

Popularity contest- Yep I agree-- America votes for who they like- who they will buy- for me hands down it is Blake! I was glad to see her go- I wanted it to be down to Jordin and Blake. I'm rooting for Blake but I wouldn't be sad to see Jordin win either- I just didn't want Melinda- I think it all depends on your taste in music- that what is great about Idol- America gets to vote for what we like- I for one thought that Blake is a better dinger and entertainer than Melinda. I do agree that she will make it even without the win- She had alot of fans! Heck if Elliot Yamin made it- she will!

Well...I actually love Melinda's singing talent, but felt she lacked charisma and self confidence from the start. I often left the room when she was on and just listened to her.

I just heard my father say the same thing when he saw doolittle was voted off, and i do agree with him and you. She is wonderful, and has the most unique style and voivce that can be. I really do not understand why they voted her off, i was sure she will win this american idol contest. Somtimes i do not understand people. But i am sure that the minute she will release an album, i will buy it.

That is unbelievable, I won't get to see that show for a least another week, but I can't believe that Blake was picked over her, she has never been in the bottom 3 in all the shows, I really don't know about this years AI seems to be really stupid in the voting and I wonder if there will be anymore, maybe they need to have judges who judge alone for the finals. If I had to vote for the best voice, then definately Melinda would take it hands down. I am not against the other two but to me it seems a mistake.

In the last term we begin studying AI.but i can not understand it.I consider AI is so hard to me as i don not have much interest in it.but i think AI have much divertingness things as long as your comprehend it.
