I'm in the beginning stages of opening a new restaurant on the east coast. I have most things in order but don't know what recipes to use. If you have a favorite recipe that you like please pass it on to me. The theme of the resteraunt is American Homestyle cooking. Kind off a through back to the food and decor of the early century.

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

"This is an incredibly easy rich and satisfying ice cream dessert made with ice cream sandwiches and fudge sauce. This keeps in the freezer very well and can be eaten straight from the freezer."
INGREDIENTS
* 1 (16 ounce) can chocolate syrup
* 3/4 cup peanut butter
* 19 ice cream sandwiches
* 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
* 1 cup salted peanuts
DIRECTIONS
1. Pour the chocolate syrup into a medium microwave safe bowl and microwave 2 minutes on high. Do not allow to boil. Stir peanut butter into hot chocolate until smooth. Allow to cool to room temperature.
2. Line the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish with a layer of ice cream sandwiches. Spread half the whipped topping over the sandwiches. Spoon half the chocolate mixture over that. Top with half the peanuts. Repeat layers. Freeze until firm, 1 hour. Cut into squares to serve.

Annie's Strawberry Dessert

"Light and sweet cream cheese layer topped with strawberries on a pecan crust. High in taste!"
INGREDIENTS
* 1 cup butter, softened
* 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 cup chopped pecans
* 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
* 2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
* 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
* 1 1/2 quarts fresh strawberries, halved
* 1 (8 ounce) jar ready-to-use strawberry glaze
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Mix the butter, flour, and pecans in a bowl, and press into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
3. Bake 10 to 15 minutes; do not allow to brown. Set aside until completely cool.
4. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Blend in the whipped topping. Spread over the cooled crust. Refrigerate 8 hours, or overnight.
5. Top with strawberries and drizzle with glaze to serve.

No Bake Double Good Dessert

INGREDIENTS
* 20 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
* 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
* 2 cups confectioners' sugar
* 3/4 cup peanut butter
* 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
DIRECTIONS
1. Press crushed cookies into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan, reserving a few for decoration. In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese and confectioners' sugar. Stir in the peanut butter until well blended, then fold in the whipped topping. Spread over the crushed cookie base, sprinkle the remaining cookie chunks on top, and freeze for 1 to 2 hours. Thaw 10 to 15 minutes before cutting and serving.

More-N-More Chili
Description:
Sweet ~N~ Spicy!
Ingredients:
2 lbs. of ground hamburger
1 envelope of Onion Soup Mix
1 envelope of Taco Seasoning Mix
1 can of Stewed or Diced Tomatoes
1 or 2 cans of Kidney Beans
1 jar of your choice of Salsa
1 can of Tomato Paste
Salt
Pepper
Garlic
Tomato Juice
1/4 c of Brown Sugar
Directions:
Brown hamburger add to hamburger while browning, Salt, Pepper, Garlic, and seasoning envelopes of Onion Soup Mix and Taco seasoning. After meat has been cooked, begin to stir in Tomatoes, Beans, and Salsa. Pour Tomato Juice into empty Salsa jar to rinse jar, then add to Chili.. (Use jar to store any leftover juice in the fridge) Add Tomato Paste to thicken, Add Brown Sugar to taste the hotter to taste the sweeter you may want it to be. (Variation: If you don't have Tomato Paste then thicken meat mixture with flour prior to adding remaining incredients.) [ Warning: If it's HOT! it will be HOTTER!! simmering or setting overnight.]
Number Of Servings:10-15 more by adding extra Tomatos, Juice, or Beans
Preparation Time:45 minutes to 1 hour

How about trying this recipe:
HAMBURGER CASSEROLE
1 lb. ground beef
1 can mixed vegetables
1 can creamy onion soup
3 to 4 c. mashed potatoes
1 c. shredded cheese
Brown ground beef and drain. In two quart casserole dish, add mixed vegetables and soup. Add ground beef to soup mixture. Top with mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Heat in conventional oven (350 degrees) or microwave (high) until cheese is melted.
