We know there are lots of people here who do surveys and those signup offers. I am very new to this kind of sites. Now I am little skeptical about this things. I have some questions to you people, who is doing these things.
First of all I want to know that all our personal information we give in a survey site is safe? Or do you give some fake information on those site?
Is it like that that after giving your information you will be having so much junk in your email and mail box that it would be difficult to find your important mails in it?
Have you ever got some free stuff after singing up for offers?
Please share your experience.
Thanks to all in advance.
PLEASE don’t post referral links here. If you want to share please PM me.

Well, I am currently in two survey sites, and they rarelly send me emails, except for paid emails or survey oportuntities. .
The two sites I am on are great survey sites and I have been paid from all three.
They are
www.surveyspot.com
www.sendearnings.com
They all are trustworthy sites and I would really recommend them to you.

Hello.sweetlady,I have joined some surveys sites,i have to say there may be many faked sites which will use your personal information for other purposes. I will give them the real information as sometimes thye need to send the checks with your name to your home, sometimes,i get some junk email, but I am not sure it is because of the signup or not.
I have not signed up for any free offers,I only do surveys, and i have got payment in some of the sites.
Good luck.

Yes easy88, our personal information may be used for other purposes, that's why I am little hesitate to join those sites. Because I have no idea about which one is real and which one is not.

I only have a few that really send you samples and others that pay you for the surveys. One is Pinecone and the other is BzzAgent. I have signed up for others but it seems to take a very long time to reach the minimum payout.

Lots people say about Pinecone, but it's hard to get there. I will check out the other site BzzAgent.

I used to do the Sweet but I got fed up with always being told that I do not qualify
I did not lie on the Details so in the end I was sick of receiving them and being told I do not qualify they had all my Details so why send me some that I did not qualify for
All I can suggest to you is give it a try but make sure they are legit

Ya lots of people say that after completing 2 or 3 page you will know that you don't qualify for that survey. That's not fair.

I joined a few survey sites but nothing came of them, either they never bothered to send me surveys or they simply just didn't deliver what they promised, like the money they were to pay for the sites. I don't know if any one else here has had luck with them, because I wouldn't mind joining DECENT SURVEY SITE IF IT EXISTED lol. I am by nature always optimistic, so if there are any I would like to join, as long as they pay and are genuine as I don't have much time to waste.

I jsut hate this when you do your part of hard work spending your valuable time and they don't keep their promise. This is so bad.

If you ever see a banner for Pinecone Research http://www.pineconeresearch.com/ sing up immediately. They only allow new sign-ups a couple times a year and I was lucky enough to get in on it about a year ago. They pay $5 per survey and you can either get it in check or paypal. Check takes about a week and paypal about one day. They've also sent me some stuff to try out in the past. They are legitimate, just hard to get into. I don't get a ton of surveys. I've been paid by surveyspot before, not all their surveys pay though. I've also been paid by http://www.greenfieldonline.com/ again not all surveys pay. Good luck and if you find any good ones let us know!

You are lucky that you got into pinecone. Lots of people say it is a really good site. But I don't know if I would be able to join that site or not. Lets hope for the best.

When I started doing surveys and offers, I started a new yahoo mail account. Sure glad I did. Lot's of spam.
I do not do a lot of surveys. I generally find them torturous, as the questions go on and on and on ...
Hope you find some things that work for you.

Yes, sometime questions just come in one after another, it feels like a never ending task.

But also if you are doing a survey, you should give the real info. Just have to watch that the site is real.

I love surveys!
But you need to make the difference between the good ones and the fak e ones
Some kind of "offer" call themselves surveys when the only thing they are trying to do is sign up with their partner sites and you need to stay away from those. If the "survey" starts by something like "do you prefer X or Y?" and ask for an email address or a zipcode, this iis what I call a false survey site. Or if they ask you in the first pages if you want to sign up with another site as well, avoid them.
Also avoid any kind of company that tells you that they will pay you $25-$100 per survey , and the only thing you have to do is pay a "small fee" to sign-up ... run! 99% of those are scam ... and the 1% will only give you a list of the good survey sites, but you can find them by yourself, for free ...
Finally the good ones ... free to sign up and which pays ... they exist and there are several ... most of them though are directed to US and canada
If you are interested I have a list of many survey sites on my webpage :
http://iamhere2help.mysite.com/custom4.html
and I have indicated if they have paid me or not, amd how much so far
of course if you want more details, feel free to send me a message and I will be happy to help you further
good luck to you

here are a few thing you should do to help, first of all, get a brand new e-mail address, i know this may sounds alot of work and stuff, but it is worth it, second when giving out address, if you have a p.o. box it would be great, if you dont than use your address with caution, third of all if you dont want anyone to call you, use an old phone number, so try those few things out and see how it work

I don't have p.o. box. I think old phone number is a good idea. But the thing is I just forgot my old phone number lol, it was long ago I changed my number.

You can find 'n' number of scams. But some of the survey sites are genuine and offering incentives for attending surveys. I have earned market points and redeemed by attending surveys. So I can refer you if you would be interested.
They are not going to use the personal data that you are going to give in a survey.
best of luck

That would be good if you can share some genuine sites, which really pay and don't missuse our personal information.

I don't like survey sites.
The reason behind it is most "sell" on the details given and that results in years of darn phone calls. A friend of mine used to do it all the time and earned quite well from it and then he got rather annoyed when is phone kept ringing and someone saying "interested in windows" or "need new doors?"

I find survespot.com to be very good if you live in the USA or Canada. I have been paid by them plus they are a part of the Better Business Bureau. As far as I know, if you go with a company that is good they will not share your data, but then again they may get hacked into, so that is a give and take relationship you have to realize.
With surveyspot, some of the companies that they partner with to do the surveys sent me some products to study and give my opinion. It was really cool to do. Well, I'll talk to you later.

I personally DO paid surveys. But not the kind that are offered on the internet. Most of those paying surveys are not for people in my country. I am a member of survey companies that are active in my country, Netherlands. I work for Nipo and Intomart, Opinieland and some smaller ones. I get surveys quite often. And most of the time they are nice to participate in. I always give accurate information. You can not ly in a survey. I have thought about it once in a while. But if you tell a ly you have to remember it well. Otherwise you tell another time something different. I give true information about myself and my family. If you are not willing to give true information you must not do it. I believe personally that the information I give in a survey is used safely. And I dont get that much junk mail in my inbox either. Hope this will help you.

well I do think we should be careful, private information should be kept as secrets. At least we can't write down all the details of our personal information.
