Well, I believe that Jesus is a guy that will do as his father tells him. He already did that by dying on the cross for the world. I don't know what you mean when you say "a religion that bombs people to go to heaven". I am a Christ believing person. But it's okay. You believe what you believe. I'm not going to go against you or anything. It's all good with me man.

Good question. I don't think any of us really know that we are saved. The word "saved" in the original Greek is "sozo". This word basically means to be taken from one place safely to another. It's like this....Are you saved when you are in a burning house? No. You aren't saved until the fireman comes to rescue you and carries you out of the house. It is the same for us. We are in an unclean world. We won't be saved until we are taken out of it by our Lord. We can be "born again" but that is something that comes from above or "anothen" in the Greek. We cannot choose to be born again. God must choose us. See John 1:13, John 6:44 for reference.

Wow kimfitts.... I'm so glad that you said what you said. I agree with you. Like my comment I posted about the scripture in Ezekiel. I believe that no one will know if they're saved or not until the day comes when the lord shall take his people home.
Most people think that when they accept Jesus Christ as their savior that they are saved. I belive again that when we accepted Jesus Christ we accepted the way of life that he tells us to live by, but alot of times we tend to forget that and sometimes without even knowing, we sin. Then we have to start all over again just like the scripture says in Ezekiel.
Thanks for your response. I believe that was the best one yet.
