i'd pay my bills, pay my kids bills, make sure my parents were fine, and then id take a year long vacation and see the world! whatever was left, id have fun just walking up to strangers and handing them some big bills! what a kick that would be!

It would be fun to give strangers money. I would probably take a vacation too after I have the house done. Thanks!

Hmm. I would pay off my parents home for them and their other bills. They live on a fixed income and find it hard each month. I would then invest a great deal of the money so that it would continue to make money as I spent money! Ha! I would start my own counseling service for teens. In my area, mental health is swept under the rug. There is not a place for me to work using my true degree (mental health nurse pracitioner) and that is what I would love to do! So many teens and children need help early so that they do not turn into terrible adults. (recent v-tech incident comes to mind)I would of course use some to send my teens to college!

Well if we won like the Mega Millions for example the first thing we would do is change our names, before even collecting the money..THEN we'd pay off all our debts (including the house etc), do all the renovations, put money aside for the kids, THEN we'd split the remaining down the middle, half for me, half for my husband...With my share I would give money to some special ppl in my life, pay off the house of my gf and her family and give them a nice chunk of change...I would rent a nice place in Cali for myself and have my gf and her daughter move in there full time but it'd be a home for me for whenever I wanted to be there..I would go shopping, go on vacation with my family...THEN I would get in the works my "Rainbow Tribe"....I might invest some money and finally I would donate money to some of my favourite charities...

The first thing I would do would be paying off all of our bills. Then I would pay off all my dad's medical bills, and their house.
If it was several million that we won, my husband would get kicked out of the military, so we would buy a home somewhere closer to home. The rest would probably go into savings. We would have to use it to pay all of our regular recurring bills while my husband was in college, because I wouldn't go back to work, if we had a lot of money. :)

It would be nice to have the money to help out family members. It would be good for you not to have to go back to work too, that way you could be with your son all the time. Thanks!

First thing? Hmmmm maybe I'll treat my family to dinner on a class restaurant and after eating I will give each and everyone a glass of champagne and offer a toast. That will be my cue to announce to everybody that I won the lottery.

It's hard when neighbours are that close sometimes, so this would definitely be a good way to spend the money. Thanks!

If I became rich and knew I was going to have a lot of money I would have to say the very first thing I would do is pay off my sons debts. He is married and has three kids. Paying off his debts would help him greatly so that would be the very first thing I would do. Doing this because I would know that even after I paid his debts off I would still have a lot of money left to take care of my debts and have a considerable sum of money still left.
