Do you experience electric shock during winter?

I'm new here in US and it's shocking to me to experience electric shocks. My husband use to tease me "telling me Honey you're a shocking person". And i laugh about it. But seriously Is there anyone here who experience electric shock more often than i do? I want to know.

Come to think of it, I do get more shocks in the winter. My hair, especially, gets a lot of static. I think it has to do with the dryness of the cold weather plus the indoor heating...
