which pets do you like better, dogs or cats?

i like dogs very much because dogs are our friends. they are docile and loyal. I saw many movies about dogs , which were very affecting. and i can't help crying. so do you have pets like dogs or cats and which one do you like better and why?

Hi lester800, I love both animals! I have two cats, I live in an apartment. I had a dog but had to give her away almost 8 years ago. Dogs need space to run and play and expend their energy. I would love to have a dog again, if I ever move into a house, I will definately adopt a dog. Cats are very independent but my cats are very affectionate. One of my cats is 3 years old, she is very playful. My older cat is going on 16 this year and she is my heart. She senses my moods and when I am feeling sad she always comes around me and it is so weird how she just seems to know how to make me feel happier. Thanks for the great discussion...take care...

I can't choose anymore. For the biggest part of my life I thought I was a dog person. I had dogs ever since I was a child and thought they were the best pet. A few years back we got a cat. Fluffly is so adorable and playful that I don't know anymore. I really can't choose.
