No, I'm far away from home. I was born and raised in Wellington, New Zealand and moved to Samoa 2000, and now have relocated to USA since August 2006. I do miss home from time to time mostly the family but I don't actually miss living there. I don't know what it is but I like moving from country to country :)

I am living in the town I went to college in. I lived other places, but while I was in school this town won my heart. I felt like it would be a good place to raise my family, and it was. I am open to going where God might lead me, though, as my kids are all grown up. I have wonderful friends here, though.

My hometown was really bad for me. I faced a lot of discrimination there over issues like religion, my refusal to be racist, and my refusal to be dominated by any male that happened to be present. I'm very happy not to be living there anymore. I know for a lot of people they feel an attachment to the place where they grew up. I sort of feel an attachment to the physical land, it's beautiful, but not to the people there.

Close. In the same state and maybe 90 minutes away from my home town. I have moved and have been fine with it though and I would like to move again. I would miss home, but could always come back for a visit :)

I'm still living in my hometown, but simply cause I still live at home with my parents. I don't really care for this place outside of that and most definitely will be moving away from this place when I move out of the house, there's just too little available to do here.

I am still living in my home town because i grew up here and did by schooling here. Then i feel at home in my home town as i am so used to living here be it the weather, people. Also the fact that i know the city pretty well and know my way around. And yeah i like the pace of the city,w ide roads, greenry as i am nature lover which i can view from my home as there are trees, parks and birds chirping away, watching sunrise ans sunset. And being at home i feel happy and enjoy myself esp. on mylot forum.

i am living back with my parents again because i got a job, so im back im my home town, but i dont really see this village as a home town if u know what i mean, like if my parents moved, wherever they go to would end up being my home town because they are there if you know what i mean.

I was born and brought up in a town four and a half miles from where I live now, but I would not go back to live there now, because for one, I love where I'm living now in the countryside and for a second thing, my home town, or childhood town has grown far too big and is nowhere near the same as it was when I was a child. I hate development! lol. Brightest Blessings.

I moved away from my hometown when I was 18 and never looked back. Except when I go to visit my family. I have lived in Virgina, Missippii, and back again to Tennessee. I have moved seven times in my life, I plan on not moving again. Now I live an hour and a half away from my hometown. I love going there to visit, but I'm very happy once I return home again.

I am still living in the same area. It's is one big urban area here, so although it is technically a different city, it's the same urban area and right next to the city that I gew up in. I don't think I will be settling around here, though. Although I know the area and a lot of the people, it's never really felt like home to me. I was always more comfortable in Southern California when I lived down there. That was always more like home to me than living where I was raised.

Sure, as the old saying goes: East or west, home is the best. I have been traveling around for many places some of which are very nice places with beautiful surroundings or well develeped economy. But I never found one that I thought was better to live than my hometown as it is not big or very beautiful, nor is it well developed. Here I would feel at home and comfortable.

I am still in Montreal, where I have lived all my 52 years on the face of this earth. I lived the first 18 years of my life in the same house but it has long been torn down and condos have been put up in its place. But I have never lived more than 20 miles away from that first little flat.

I am not in my home town. My wife and I have lived here in suburban Minneapolis Minnesota USA for 32 years now. We moved from Detroit Michigan when we were just a loving couple living in sin. We ran into problems where her mom nor my parents would allow us to live in their respective house unless married. We had been together a couple years but weren't ready to marry just yet. So I had a cousin and my younger brother both lived here in Minnesota seperately so we hitchiked here, got an apartment and jobs and have been here ever since. We did marry 3 years after we got here. We've been married 29 years. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I have lived in different places in the country for the past 7 years. I lived in Ormoc for about 3 years, Dumaguete for 2 1/2 years, Tacloban for 2 years also and Metro Manila for 7 months. I have learned that I love my home and home is where my love ones are and where I feel most secure. No one can touch me or harm me when I am home and I will always have my relatives and family to protect. Home is where my roots are and my memories of childhood is being nurtured. There is indeed no place like home.

Nope, i don't live in my home town, i bought my own home somewhere we'd lived before that i enjoyed. I also didn't see a point since house prices there went through the roof & i wanted to start a new chapter in my life, with my partner & where better to do that than somewhere new. We now have a family & things here are good, even if i sold this house, i don't think i'd move from this town because it's quiet, small & the people here are friendly, i have grown to love it a lot.
