I saw this the other day and thought it was okay. When I had first heard of this movie I thought it was more child friendly but I was wrong. I did not know that it was rated r and Not for kids. Have you this this movie and what did you think of it? I can not seem to get the tune out of my head.

Very good movie, I like it. About the ending, I read some review about the movie, I want to say, the whole story was only happen in the little's imagenation, whe just want to preotect her mother and her baby brother from the cold life with her imagination from the fancy stories.

I saw it a few months back and I really adored it. The violence was really quite shocking though, there were a few scenes that I simply couldn't continue watching. In that aspect this movie really isn't meant for children.
Still, excellent movie.

I saw this movie too a few days ago. I absolutely loved it. It was a great fairy tale. Granted, it was a too graphic for little ones. But if you think about the old classics like Hansel and Gretel, this was no more violent than that. Definitely, not kid appropriate!!
But the story was beautifully done. I cried a bit near the end.

I haven't seen it yet, but it's on my list of movies that I want to watch.
I also thought it was more child friendly, but someone told me exactly the same thing you did. I want to watch it though, the trailers got me curious :)

I haven't seen it yet, but intend to. Yes, for all intents and purposes it looks like a bad acid trip! I knew it wasn't for faint-of-heart kids!
When I was a teenager, I went to see "Labyrinth" just to see David Bowie playing the Goblin King! I went with my older girlfriends from high school, and we all loved it. We thought of it as a kid's movie that was catering to adult Bowie fans. ;)
I'd be glad to come back to this discussion as soon as I've seen the movie.
So tell us, which creature scared you the most? I've been seeing pictures of Pan that scared the heck out of me...!!!
