Glad that u understand my point. even my own colleagues dont understand where would i stay back late at night just to do my work. FYI, im a video editor, trying to push myself for more motion graphics animation. its very rewarding when clients or my colleagues said they like part of what i'd done.

I'm a creative type, myself. It is VERY rewarding when someone genuinely likes what you worked so hard to create!

Yes, it is very rewarding when you can use what you've learned and worked so hard for. Long hours and low pay make it difficult, but if you like what you do, it can be worth it. Sometimes great pay just isn't worth it if you don't like what you are doing. I know that from experience.

I would have to say that I love my job. I am a full time stay at home mom to two kids. I know I don't get paid and some people don't call that a job, but it is. I love playing with the kids, and running with them to there activities. Also for the side to make some play money I try and find different things I can do at home with the kids. So whatever money I make from that I love it.

Being a stay-at-home-mom is a huge and important job! You get paid on a daily basis with hugs and kisses and the satisfaction that you are raising your kids the best way you know how. Kudos to you!!

Thanks. Yeah I love it when the kids come up to me and say I love you. That makes me feel so good. Just glad that I can stay home with them right now to watch them grown and hear about the day at school at when they get out. So yeah all and all I have the best job..

I wouldn't say "love it" but I do like my job. The pay isn't the greatest but is still high compared to most of the places around here. I'm home a little after 5 every night and don't work weekends. Plus the owners take the time to visit every employee once each week and actually care about what's going on in their lives. I just didn't get that with some of the larger companies I've worked for.

How wonderful that you've found an employer that cares so much! It is so rare these days that you will find that. Sometimes the benefits outweigh the paycheck. Good for you!

I have two part time jobs and I love one and would like to quit the other one. I have been looking for something else to replace it. The reason I don't like it is that I feel entirely uncompatible with the people. They're nice, but they're like aliens to me. The work there is okay but still confusing sometimes after almost a year because nobody except my predecessor knew how to do some of the things she did and nobody ever got that info from her. It doesn't pay much but I hate to let go of any source of income. I'm really struggling with that one.

I understand where you're coming from. You want everything to be secure before jumping ship. It's normal. I had a full time job, and I just quit to start my own business. I trained and got things together before I quit my job. My only security right now is that my husband works. He doesn't make a lot of money, but enough to sustain us for a short while. It was very scary to take the leap and invest in myself. But I am luck enough to have found something that I enjoy doing and can make money at. It won't get me rich, but it will help pay the bills. Best of all, I can work from home and be here for my kids.

I both love and hate my job. I love it because this is the closest I have ever been to doing what i went to school for. I have wanted to be a diener since 9th grade. I went to mortuary school but didn't like the F.D. thing so I went for Criminal Justice and landed an internship at the Coroner's office. I hate it though because supposedly they can't make me an employee, I'm just a contractor. so no taxes taken out, no benefits, no parking spot. Have to park a block away down the hill.
