Does you child say the darnedest things!

Here's my eventful day. Sometimes kids don't think before they say something. At the volleyball games today my daughter was taught how to bump the ball. The coach explained that by bumping the ball with her fingertips she will be setting up the ball for the setter to spike the ball over. She in return tells the coach ( My fingers may break and why does the setter get the easy jobs, I'm not an ant you know!) I thought the coach was going to die of laughter she had never heard anyone put it in that perspective. Then the girls actions through out the games were giving high 5's at every little play that was completed. (Just imagine 6 players going to on side of the court just to give a high 5 for hitting the ball). The girls were definetly on a roll - One girl made the comment to another (that if she kept hitting the ball so hard they may end up having squash for supper.) Another was tying her shoes when my daughter says so loud ( oh my stars there goes 3 seconds of my life) The entire gym was rolling in laughter. The top prize was when we dropped by a yard sale and Theresa found a walker -- Not realizing she was being watched she started a comedy show ( of course I'm embarassed but the other attending was busting with laughter.) It amazes me how children are so full of laughter - I've decided that kids are here to fullfill our lives with the joy of laughter.
