Do you have a best friend of opposite gender? Is it possible to just be friends?

There is no real frendship between boys and girls. I have several good friends of opposite gender, but now we don't frequently visit each other since I have a boyfriend. If I often go out with them, my boyfriend will be unhappy, then I often refuse their invitation, because I love my boyfriend.
