I spent all day saying i am going to clean up, cook, and do other things. next i knew it was 6pm and the house is still a mess, i didn't cook dinner, and now i am not in the mood. does that happen to you, the day gets away from you before you even get started doing what you set out to do?

My life is so structured I don't have to worry about not getting things accomplished. You could say my life is filled with routine. I like it like that. I get more accomplished and don't have to allow that extra stress or worry whether I get things done in my life.
It's good for some people. People who live on structure. If I didn't have structure, I would run amok. LOL

You will momma. It just takes time and determination. Right now you have other things that need your attention. Your baby girl and the other kids. Then there's Mister Man, and that million dollars you have to make. Busy Busy.

Yes, once I am doing something I can keep on with it, but the hard part is getting started. At the end of the day I try to take stock of what I have done, and some days I am struggling to have something to put on my mental checklist.
And I know what you mean about getting out of the mood too. I am really affected by the weather. When the sun is shining, I feel very positive and ready to go. But if it is cloudy or raining, I'm not so energetic.
But the worst thing to make the time slip away is the computer, esp Mylott!

A friend of mine says that she likes to start a load of laundry going, and then it runs by itself and she can think about what she needs to do, but she is already getting something done. Ever since then, I like to think of it that way too.

Yeah, my problem is I'm a writer and writers are supposed to write. But I get sidetracked. Sometiems here on MyLot. Sometimes with (the dreaded) housework, and sometimes with emails and phonecalls. I wish I was more time management wise! One thjing though - I would never forget to cook dinner. My three teenage sons, hubby plus hangers on might complain - loudly!

I am going to get it all done tomorrow too, I had to map out a plan so I can make up for what I didn't do today.

That happens to me all of the time. I always try to get alot done every day but the time just flies. I work online every day and I try to keep things done around the home also. I always have laundry to do and my house gets very dusty also. I am so dedicated to earning online, the time slips by me and the day is gone and I can't hardly get much accomplished. I am cleaning today and working also. I have alot to catch up on. Some days I do not have the energy to much after working online.

I hear ya! Monday's slip away especially fast for me beacsue we have my son's speech class, then my daughter's swimming class. Between that and the laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning and cooking, all of the sudden it's 5:00 and my hubby's home. I feel like I'm running all the time and don't get anything done!

This happenes to me everyweekend. My husband and I have a side job other than our full time job. So we are out late on Friday and Sat. nights so we want to sleep in, in the morning. However we normally get up around 8 or 9 and go eat breakfast. We do a few things around the house and then we lay down and take a nap as we are tired and have to work again Sat. night. Then we get up get ready and head out ot our other job. The only day we have to do anything is on Sunday and we are so tired and worn out from all the work we do. We do a little on Sunday but before you know it, the weekend is gone and we didn't get near the things we wanted to done.
