Is it true that men's minds are more focused on competition and how to win? I was wondering, maybe it's the reason why a greater number of men get addicted to video games-e.g. dota-than women. As soon as men are acquainted with a game, all he thinks about is how to emerge as the winner. he doesn't care if it already affects his daily lifestyle and work. he does everything he can-and that means practicing day and night-until he wins.
I believe that this is the reason behind men being more addicted to internet and video games.
how bout you? watcha think?

i think they're more competitive, women are smarter. their goals are directed to more useful stuffs rather than winning because they know winning isn't everything. you gain things that are going to lose anyway.
when women get competitive, men usually get stumped because women are more hard-working, they know what they want and they're gonna get it.

Yes, that`s true. Sometimes i play video-games too. For me this is just a way to escape of my daily troubles. And i am interested most in the game, the modules there. For the men i met there it`s more important to compete with the other players. They even had a forum and special topics for praise and complaint:-) For me that`s annoying. This is a game only. I dont need so painfully anybody`s applauses.

I know that I am a very competitive person, moreso than my male friends (of course, my friends are very easygoing). I don't usually seek out competition, but when I'm playing a game I really hate to be the loser. I get addicted to video games too, though it has to be a certain type of game and really good. I like racing games the best! Maybe I like them because I can usually beat everyone I play against.
