definition of best friends

Best friendship is an identity of souls which is rarely to be found in this world.

For me best friend is someone whom you really trusted to with all of your secrets and stories about your life and anything that happening with you. A best friend is someone whom you lean on and count on to. And no matter what happen they are always by your side to support you and to lend you a hand if there any problems you encounter.

It's someone who can accept you for who you are no matter what. Someone who will stick by you when you need them and will not be ashamed to tell you what your flaws are.. A bestfriend is someone you can trust with your darkest deepest secret without judging you for what your secret is. This person will always be there for you and vise versa.

A best friend is someone that is there in good times and bad, who will listen to you harp and complain for hours and never hang up no matter how much you go on, and you do the same for them, who will come set up with you all night if you sick, who will just be there no matter what you need, or what time you need it. who when things are wrong and you can't sleep they don't get mad if you call late at night and wake them up. I guess what I am trying to say is no matter what they are there for you, and in turn you are also there for them, I have two, really true friends that I know I can count on no matter what, I have many more friends but they are not as close as these two. I would do anything for them, and I'm sure i can say they would do the same.

A person you can trust and are very close with. A person who knows you very well. The first person you call when the most amazing things in your life happen and the most horrific things happen as well.Someone you can be totally yourself around and not give a care in the world about how they may judge you the stuiped things you say and do.

We share our happiness,sad moments,problems,secrets,money,food just everything important in life with friend. That apart our best friend should understand our thought & emotions and he/she should give due respect to them. he should stand by us during our tough time. It doesn't matter to me if I get some assistance from my friend or not,but the mere presence would be highly consoling. Thank you for the nice first post of yours. I know I defined it a bit large,but i consider these as essential criteria for a best friend. You have a nice time at mylot.

A best friend is someone who encourages you, supports you and listens to you when you are having a bad day. She(or he) is someone who will also knock you back to reality when you start moaning too much about something or just need a reality check.

I believe that a true friend consists of many things, making them a very important part of your life. A true friend would be someone willing to stand by you no matter what even if you are wrong. A true friend is somone that you can talk to all night long about everything you can think of. A true friend is someone that worries about you when things are not going as planned, and helps you get through these times. I define a friend as the word devoution through the hardest times you ever face in life.

Hi Newbie! I appreciate your effort in posting discussions. you have to type the full word rather than their short forms. Make discussions such that everyone are able to respond to it. It's very difficult to define best friend. To me true friend is the best friend. A friend if comes to your support on your toughest moment when no one is there to even console you with or without your calling, he/she is the true friend. To me he/she is my best friend.

hmm for me... i will called her/him is my bestfrend if : *) be there when i need a support... just mental support *) ever fight each other n then we survive.... *) just share each other but never ask something private.. *) suggesting n not forcing to do it well ppl who do understand me better before i told my problem completely n know excatly how am i gonna act to solve it... that's my best friend...

I'd say that a best friend is a friend you can trust, one that is allways there you you, one you can tell everything to and ýou know that he will not tell anyone.

to me a best friend is someone who calls your parents mom and dad, who is there for you through thick and thin no matter what, someone who lets you cry on their shoulders even if they think your reasons are lame, someone who is sitting next to you in jail because they pulled the stunt off with you instead of bailing you out, somoene who loves you unconditionally just because your you!

Best friend is the one you can really trust,even without seeing each other regularly it always have a part in your heart. Telling the truth about you even it's hurt, helping each others arm whenever who needed.

It seems that I have given response to similar question before. :) On my part, no body can give a definition of "best friend" as it can vary according to different people with different purpose of making friends. What I can say here is "good friend" instead of "best friend". A good friend is one that you don't have always to keep in mind nor do you have to mention or keep close contact when you are busy, but the one you would at the first time think of when you are in need and would ask for help without hesitation while he in turn would give you whatever help he could without asking for reason.

Best friend is one who comes forward to help in our odd times without hesitation.Stops us from commiting mistakes and bad things and guides us.He is one who is ready to sacrifice his interests and time for us.

someone who stays beside you no matter what... corrects you when your wrong... accepts you whatever you are... someone who listens to you and keeps you in the right tracks.....=)

bestfriend for me is like your favorite doll. when you need soemone to cry on , she will be there. when you need someone to lean on, she will be there. she is someone that really treasure you a lot and soemone who you can confide on.
