Do you have a favorite insect?

I like the ant. I could sit and watch them for hours. They are fascinating going to and from the anthill and the queen. Honey bees I can watch flit from flower to flower for hours. It is the mosquitoes I really hate. Do you have a favorite insect you watch for hours?

Butterflies! I love butterflies. They are a sign from heaven (valley above) to me.. like the deer or the hawk.. Love to see them flitting around.. we have the monarchs around and the yellow swallowtail - I was calling it a yellow monarch but my husband told me it's a yellow swallowtail, and now I can see it.. the tail that is.. - But the ant is surely the most industrious and creative.. :)

I haven't noticed many butterflies around this year which is a shame as they really are pretty. We have an attraction here call butterfly gardens and I have yet to go, maybe I should check it out soon.

I like butterflies. I love to see their different colour and sizes.

The butterfly is beautiful. I love the whole life process of the butterfly.
