Do you prefer Ukay-ukay or second-hand or "has been used" clothes?

Hi! I think it is okay to have second hand clothes, shoes, bags, or anything if you are on a tight budget. But I don't like to get them from those ukay-ukays. I will gladly have them if they come from people I know. I don't want to discriminate, but if they are used clothing from anyone else, we wouldn't know if the person has some disease that we might get from using their clothes. Yeah maybe some people said they boil the clothes, but still there are microorganisms that can withstand heat. So let's just be safe. Try to buy new cheap ones or used ones from the people we know. =)
