No, it is still against the rules. I figure they just haven't been reported or something.

No the TOS and/or guidelines haven't changed. It's just so many don't bother to read them. If they did and if others reported violaters it would help to clean it up. I know when ever I go into the area of discussions with no responses I see tons that violate the guidelines; from one line discussions to referrals. It's very aggravating and there is no reason for it. I try to report those that I can but it helps when there are several people reporting them.

No, the guidelines with respect to creating discussions with referral links has not changed. But, like with most other violations we tend to see repeatedly on here, the members that choose to ignore the rules or don't take the chance to read them in the first place, are pretty much here with the wrong intentions.
I find myself not even looking through new discussions and completely relying on my friends list for discussions to reply to. This way I know I can count on those members to create valid and quality discussions that won't eventually be deleted for a violation.
If you see these referral posts, I'd suggest reporting them. This way we don't get overrun by them.

No it is still a violation, but if people do not report it, it stays. We must report the ones that are violating the guidelines or we get what we have the last week of people complaining because they have lost LOTS of points because some scum cheater has been on here for MONTHS and allowed to get away with it!
