You can transfer via a currency exchange utilizing the services of an independent exchange service. The e-gold system is designed to be absolutely free of any financial risk. There can be no debt or contingent liabilities associated with e-gold. For this reason, e-gold Ltd. does not possess any national currency of any nation and has no bank accounts. Thus, e-gold Ltd. is not able to offer currency exchange services. Instead, a growing number of independent exchange service around the world support exchange between various national currencies and e-gold, accepting remittances via credit card, bank wire, check, money order, Western Union, PayPal, eMoneyMail, and others.

before i signed up in e-gold, i read the rules and stuff and what i read is that they pay you by transfer the money through your paypal account but a fee or request a check for free but take like 2-3 days.

They are like all other bank systems. You need to have debit or credit card or bank account. They make a transer.

I am not too sure, but I heard that they find a bank in your area that accepts gold as a currency and has the bank issue a check to you. Like I said I am not too sure but that is all I have heard about it.
