Can anyone remember this radio show from the 70's or 80's? Is it still on?
It used to be on Sunday teatimes with a barbershop quartet or male voice choir. They used to sing sing-a-long songs, or songs n the round etc.
We used to all sing along.
Sing something simple as days go by
sing something simple just you and I
we'll sing the old songs and we'll sing the new
we'll sing the old songs like we used to do
we'll sing something simple for you.

dear rainbow, i donot have any idea, but its a wonderful song, certainly nostalgic.
this reminds me of SING A SONG by carpenters. its one of my all time favorites.

yes, i remember, we used to have one radio show in the mid eighties where they used to air all requested songs. this was the time, when we didnot have CDs in our country, only looked upto the tapes and long playing discs and ofcourse the radio. with TV didnot having private channels, radio was a big time fashion then. 3 of us sisters used to rush for the favorite place beside the big, grandpa radio for our songs to be played. we used to sing along , dance and have a life....
