Gilly Gilly Horse and Pepper Cats and Melon Coben by the Sea

I used to sing this as a little girl with my mum. It was a song that we sang with an echo. Can anyone else remember it or who it was by? I was teaching it to Bong and Roo, do you teach this kind of song to your little ones to improve their speach?

I do not remember that particular song. But I have sung songs and rhythms to my children to help them with their speech. I have bought a book with children's nursery rhythms in it. It helps the children to be able to see a picture when we sing together. Of course they have their picks of favorites. But enjoy going through the whole book.

How lovely, I have books of ryhmes and we sing them in the car, it's fun, good for their memory and speech. I love anything like that and we often sing silly versions too!
