I am not a book person so I read one or two books a year. I used to read more in college but the habit has gone. Maybe my tired eyes lol I prefer music and movies now. What about you? Do you read a lot? Why? Have your word.

I don't read as much as I used to but since I am an author usually what I read is something to do with techniques or marketing. And I do read alot to my granddaughter! She is already a bookaholic! And only two! http://totouchaheart.blogspot.com

I don't read books. The only books I read are technical books related to computer subjects. But I don't think you are talking about this type of books.

Life is too good ... even better if the horror comes from the books :) I've seen many good adaptations of Stephen Kings book but never actually read one.

Now 1 book in a year, but when I was going to school I have read about 10 books in a year. I don't like to read books.

School is the time we all read more, not exactly because we like but we need it. Either way there is always some good book from that time, isn't it?

Five books in five months is good enough, I wish I could do that. I read a lot of magazines, weekly trade industry magazines. There is some very interesting pieces that are quiet enjoyable.

WEll, I used to read a lot of books! But I mean A LOT - like a book a week... during my summer vacation, when I didn't have what to do, had a week when every single day I read one book. Itwas pretty crazy - ednded up reading all day long lol. Right now this year I have read only 2 books, I am waiting for my summer vacation to start. Cheers!

I try to read one book a week, but sometimes if I read a larger classic, it takes a few weeks. On average, I'd say about 40 books a year. I mostly read classic literature, but I do read whatever is popular too. It's so beneficial, because other books allude to other books, and so do movies, and other forms of entertainment. It's so cool to know what someone is talking about in a movie when they say something about a book you have read. Even though I read a lot, I don't just sit around and read all day...I do other things as well. I usually read right before bed, and it's really suprising how many books you can read just by reading a few chapters a night!
