anybody make decent money on ebay?

It all depends on what you sell, and how you sell it. By How, I mean how much information you give about the item, how in demand it is, how you talk it up, how you present it. My strategy is to give as much information as possible, take at least two pictures, and add a review. Whether you write the review is up to you. Having to ask questions is irritating for buyers, so a lot of the time they will not bother and, as a result, not bid. Keep shipping costs reasonable, and combining shipping for multiple items encourages buyers to look at more than one of your items. I do pretty well on eBay selling vintage jewelry and collectible items. I find these items at local estate sales, auctions, yard/garage sales and thrift shops. If you can get a good price whey buying the items, they usually sell pretty well. I also understand that baby clothes do well, but have not tried that...

I never have, but have friends who do real well on there. I think the trick is in your picture, presentation, and the words you use. It's also good to research the competition so you are sure your item is priced and described correctly.

Some but not alot. I had to find a second work at home job and ebay is more a hobby. It's all about finding the perfect product.

I don't make a lot of money of eBay but a small amount. Usually between $50-75 a month. But all I sell is things I have around the house that we don't need anymore. So, it's nice to get rid of stuff and make a little money while I'm at it. eBay is good for that sort of thing.
