When do you start decorating for Christmas

We usually start the day after Remembrance Day inside the house, but outside we start Oct 1 by putting up our garland and lights and covering them with fall foliage to give a Thanksgiving/Halloween look. It sure beats doing it in the cold/snow.

I start mine the day after Thanksgiving, we put up so many decorations that it takes me days to get them all up.

I am in the day after Thanksgiving decorator, it is a family tradition with us, and the decorations stay up until Janurary 2.

We usually do ours early in December but not too much until the Christmas tree goes up about the second week of December. Luckily we don't have to worry about decorating in the cold as it is summer here in Australia at Christmas. :)

My mom, dad and I always used to decorate 1 or 2 weeks before Christmas. Now that I live on my own, i'll have to decorate my condo a bit, but our place isn't that big, so i'm sure i'll still go over to my mom's house to help her and my dad!

The week of Thanksgiving I will get things out and then the day after Thanksgiving, we will put the tree up. Hubby has to help me put the tree up, too big for me to do by myself lol.
