My son is 16 1.2 months old and the weirdest thing he has done is, when the vacum cleaner is on he tries to eat it. But when it is off he doesnt go near it as his not interested in it. Also at the moment he loves putting his mouth in the gap between the doors of the kitchen cupboard for some reason. So i was just wondering what is the weirdest or funniest thing you child or children have done.

i have a story! tonight when i went to check on my daughter( she's 2) i walked over to her bed and she looked at me with a very serious face. She said " here mommy take this." and she was rolling her fingers together. i said " what is it?" and she said " i dont know, i found it in my nose". lol My daughter does alot of weird things. I mentioned this in a previous post, but she used to smile at the air. and sometimes wave, and talk to it. i remember sitting in the bathroom giving her her bath, and she would just stop, and look behind me and smile or wave. or say very sweetly" hi:)". kinda creepy. Other than that , just normal kid things i suppose.

Wow that would be freaky with what your daughter was doing. Although my son does almost the same thing he waves at nothing and does the growling thing at the wall. And he pulls all kinds of weird faces when he does it lol. But the things about the nose it is just a normal id thing lol. Yuck but funny at the same time. Thankyou for responding to my discussion.

Wow that is weird. Wonder what started that off. Is it when she is anoyed or angry??. You should try to tell her not to bite herself or you bite her as it is teching her it is ok to do so. Sorry if you get angry with what i wrote just trying to help. Thankyou for you response to my discussion.

One of the funniest things that my one child used to do always occured when I vacuumed. I had a canister vacumm that pulled along on the floor. There was always music (vintage rock) playing when I did housework. My son, who was crawling at the time, would crawl up to the vacuum, pull himself upright and bob up and down to the beat of the music! It was sooo cute. Interestingly, there was a particular song that he seemed to like better than others. When he was older we played the videos for him that we had made of the cute occurances. Several weeks ago, that particular band came to town and we took our son (now a teenager) to the concert! He loved the songs, especially that particular song!!!

Yes that would be cute to see. My son bops his head up and down when there is music plaing also. Its great to look back to those days and still find it cute. As for taking him to the concert and him liking the band at least he knows the songs well and its good to hear that he loved it. Thankyou for the response.

My son who is now 20 months old will scoot his bottom around on the floor like a dog would. i dont know if he is doing this becasue he has maybe seen one of our dogs doing it or if he has an itchy bottom. He also like to spin himself dizzy over and over again.

lol. Sounds like how my little brother used to get around from one place to the next. Just think of how clean your floors would be. My mum used to put the cloth nappies on all of us kids and lest just say that they would be black yet she used to mop the floors everyday. Its just something they learn to do nothing to worry about. As for the spinning my son does that also we make a game of it. One of us spins round in a circle then ben coppies off us. He loves it.

I have an 18 month old that makes the funniest faces, while trying to communicate his needs. He doesn't speak clearly yet, but he is trying. For example, when he is trying to tell someone something is hot, he scrunches up his nose, sticks his tongue out a little, and waves his hand by his ear. How he came up with that is anybodys guess. But it is cute and funny everytime he does it.

aww that is soo sweet. Im guessing the poke of tounge is meant to be hot as in spicey, nose means smell and hand buy his ear means touch hot as when you think about it when someone burns themselfs they wave their hand. So its pretty much actions of things that happen when someone eats something hot of feels hot or burn themselfs. Very cute and thankx for responding to my discussion.
