At what age did your children start riding a real bike? When were they able to do so without training wheels? My three year old has moved on to a big bike, though he is still using training wheels. I'm pretty excited about it. We didn't expect hm to be able to for another year, but he got on the bike and took off like he had been doing it forever. LOL

Well my daughter moved to a big bike at the age of 3 as well, but she didn't learn to ride a bike without training wheels until march of this year and she was 6 1/2 but every kid learns at different rates. He might be a fast learner. My daughter was just to scared. But the week I taught her she figured it out in like 30 min. And now she acts as though she has known how to do it her whole life. But, it is real exciting when they just take off and don't fall.

yes, we will be so delighted to see that our children can run those bikes well and good. when they will fall we worry so much for them. immediately, we effect some cure to those bruises that they get whenever falls happen. biking teaches our children the good thing that takes place whenever we take that rise from a fall.

How Cool!! Both of my girls started at around 2 years old riding with training wheels. My oldest was around 4 when she didn't need them anymore. However my youngest, in order to keep up with big sis was just a little over 3 when she demanded hers off. She is a bit of a dare devil, that one.

it is good for your child to have learned to bike properly at such a young age. i had a brother who had that talent, too. as for my kids, i bought their first training bikes when they were three and two year olds. they learned to ride the regular bikes months later. i bought a bike for children which i used, too. it was fun using these small bikes.

Thats great! My son doesn't have a bike and he will be 5 in July. We were thinking of getting him one for his birthday and will start with one that has training wheels. He has always wanted one since he was 3 too, but we never got around to getting him one.

My children start riding a real bike with training wheels at the age of 2 and 1/2 years old. They are able to ride without training wheels at the age of 5 years old.
