In Brattleboro, Vermont, it is legal to walk around town in the nude.

I think that it's a choice you should make for yourself. What is wrong with it. The only reasons I would say for wearing clothes is protection. Either to protect from the weather, cold, rain, snow, etc. or protection such as that required by health codes for food service workers.
If you don't like the way they are there, then you have the choice to not go there.

It is normal to want to walk around your own town, though.

Hey Annie, not everyone has your body! Imagine what you are going to see...it isn't going to be all pretty.

As usual I'm in stitches I can just picture that. Which is not to far from the imagination. Some go to the beach with their full bathing costume with the snow white brassier on which is sticking out of the bathing suite. Wait for summer time I'll make a special trip to the beach to take a nice picture. OMG I missed my profession, I should have concerned becoming a journalist! lol!

I would protest against it, loudly. It is called indecency for a reason, after all. If people were prancing around nekkid in my town - I would not go to town! EVER!
of course the way many dress these days they are purt near nekkid anyhow.
