do you save money on a piggybank?

I don't do the piggy bank thing. Coins annoy me. I try to keep them around to pay the pizza man tip, but I feel like I'm being cheap so I convert to the dollar. My husband is a fanatic about coins and always cashing out dollars so he can get air for his tires. It drives me nuts, cause then he comes home and piles them on the kitchen counter for me to clean up. Arrgh! Best of luck with your coins!

hi, satanshiori, and i thought i was weird.. i do save on a piggy bank and i have three of them..1 for different deomination lol...its nice to see the belly getting full! but im thinking of giving them to my children so they will learn how to save.

I don't use a piggy bank since I have opened a bank account when I was 13 years old!I think using bank account instead of a piggy bank is much better.You can earn money becuase the bank gives you interest and we can withdrawal money though counters and also in the atm.All these services are free and so why don't use a bank account instead of a piggy bank?

Hello satanshiori I though that I the only one that do that, even I am 26 years old now, I still do that, I put extra money on piggybank. Not just for coins even a bigger money. I have a Sailor Moon bank that I put all my spare change and sometimes extra dollars in. I've been saving up for months and I'm pretty sure there is over $100 in there by now. I should get my coins cashed in soon, because the box is full almost to the top!
