did you guys watch the FA cup final? I thought it was kinda boring. Must confess that I went to sleep after the first half. Heard that Drogba scored a goal in extra time. I guess it was better than no goals. going into penalties in a final always takes something away from the match. if you watched it how did you find it?

I support neither of the teams, but as you know of the excitement you would expect for the 'first FA cup in the new Webley', you would expect a better performance, and even 20 minutes into the match, then commentators themselves were getting bored. What would you expect a chelsea or a manu supporter would have felt leaving the stadium after the match? I think some will wonder if that stadium ticket and journey was worth it. This is just my view

hear hear! totally agree, esp since heard that the tickets were sold for 90 quid at the least! that's a whole lot of money to pay for 2.5 hrs of entertainment. but then again, footie is more than that to most. it's not just a game. it's not just entertainment!

We didn't really watch it. It was on the tv and we were tuned into the channel, but it was so boring we were playing games on the computer after half an hour and just listening to it. I expected it to be boring really, because those two teams are not exactly exiting, even thought they are good teams. Liverpool will be more exciting in the champions league.

Well, I did turn on the sports channel, but I didn't really watch it. I only checked if someone has scored any. But it didn't seem to be an interesting game. I thought there might be a penalty after the extra time, but Drogba scored a goal at last.

I am not really a supporter of football as there are so few goals anyway. Some of the rules were changed fairly recently so it seems to be a bit better. I started watching the final as the first match at the new Wembley Stadium but when even the commentators got bored I decided I had better things to do - like come on MyLot!

It is one of the most boring games i have ever seen. It's a shame that Drogba's goal was part of that game. I would of preferred to let it go to penalties because neither side looked like winning. They respected each other but feared of conceding and Man Utd paid the ultimate price. Let's hope the next FA Cup final does not end up like this.

I would have prefered to hace watched penalties - it would have been more exciting, I too thought about falling asleep after the break but I guess I watched it untill it finished. Good plays by both teams but the nets were kept dry. I am not very fond of the final result but who cares, the better team won. Cheers!

penalties are not ideal, but I don't know what the alternative is? No one wants a replay, and it would be expensive for the fans.

You are all right, but that is the treasure of penalties, you can't expect who will win! Thank you.
