do you like chinese spring festival?why? and how much do you know it?

the spring festival is the most important festival for chinese people and then all family member get together. on that day people aften play firecrackers,hang lantern,affix, spring festival couplets and new year paintings,pay new years's call and eat dumpling.for the children,the most extied thing is fetting their gift money.i confessed that is also my extied thing when i was a kid.and how about you???

Well I have celebrated Chinese nEW yEAR WITH MY hubby when I visited him in the U.S las we are apart until we can get enough money together lol. I can cook some wicked dumplings now too and I have made my own types of fillings from Greek recipes, so we have a mix of Xila and Chinese in our cooking now, it's great fun to mix the cultures up lol. I did get one red package with 20 bucks in from an elderly lady friend from the Church, I think that was very cute of her..I bought a red lantern for the house, a paper one and my husband was moaning about it lol, but he doesn't moan if he spends a thousand bucks to get me a computer lol, men are funny aren't they?

yes, usually men are so funny.and you are a genius. out of curiosity. is that delicious cook mix xila and chinese.in chinese new yeaar all our elders give us red paper containing money as the lunar new year gift.it implied bring you luck and without mishap.

Several years ago, when I was a little boy, I loved the spring festival so much, because I could get the money ,new clothes,delicious food. But now I only can get the age.

hello,I think I love Spring Festival,especially when i was a little girl.I was always looking forward to it at that time.Because I can get some new clothes and some money.What's more,I could have much delicious food during the festival.All these things made me very happy.I really enjoyed and loved the Spring Festival at that time.However,I don't have that exciting feeling any more.I am no longer looking forward to it ,because i have been grown-up.But I still love it.I Love that joyous atmosphere.
