Have you ever been bothered by a sticky bubble gum under your shoes/clothes???

in my case, not many times tahnk goodness but it happened to me once or twice that i could remember badly. it was in my classroom. the gum was paste beside the chair and it pasted to my skirt before i stand. it somehow pull me back to my chair cause it completely pasted to my skirt. i yucked at it cause of course who wants to touch someone's dirt. i used a tissue and it took me, believe me or not, almost an hour to completely get the gum out of my skirt.

Hi ranjeetkolarkar, my son like to chew bubble gums and he has a bad habit of throwing it anywhere he likes. I have scolded him but each time he will forget. Children are always children. There were many occassion where I stepped on it and it really made me angry. It is very difficult to take it our from the shoes.

Gee that brings back memories, it has happened to me for many years, I think the only thing you seem to have to worry about these days is dog poo, but once upon a time bubble gum on the shoes was quite common.

Once I spit the gum onto my classmate's chair. At that time I was very young, about 7 years old. and never do that again.

It doesn't happen to me often, but it annoys the heck out of me. Usually, if it happens and there's any dirt nearby I'll go rub the bottom of my shoe in the dirt. It at least makes the bottom of my shoe less sticky. I've only ever gotten it on clothing once. Since then I look before sitting down anywhere public.

Hi ranjeet bro your posts are really outstanding and you always manage to hit the right spot can you message me with some tips please. now coming to the topic yes it happened so once that we had our seniors graduation day and I had volunteered for that auspicious day, so all volunteers were asked to come in white uniforms, I was given food stall duties so I had run about alot so that everyone gets there share m, while doing this I got so tiered that I decided to just sit for a while and then went on doing my duties , and then suddenly I saw a bunch of girls were laughing looking at me so I went and asked my friends if I was looking alright so I just decided to have a little chito chat with those girls who were laughing on me and just as I turned towards them my friend just pulled my back and said " Dude there is a gum stuck up to your pant " and that was the most embarrassing moment of my life. Your posts seriously makes me remember about my golden moments, but please dont forget to send this rookie a message.

It is always a nuisance to find some chewing gum sticking on the soles or on our clothes especially the trousers. If it were on the soles of the shoes we will feel uncomfortable on our feet as if there is a spike underneath. Some fresh chewing gum might stick on and dirty the floor. If it were stuck on our trousers after we had sat on it accidentally it could really be serious as we never have any effective method to get rid of it totally. The trousers have to be disposed of as they are not decent to worn any more.

I hate that when it happens! Actually, I have experienced that myself several times in the past. I do also get mad at the person whoever it is, a slob, irresponsible, one to have spat out gum on the floor, in the street, wherever, that should not be there in the first place. It's so yucky, and it's so hard to take off from my shoes as well. I use liquid thinner to take the gooey, sticky, stubborn from my shoes.

I agree totally on this one! I hate when I step in a pile of gum. It's probably one of the most annoying and disgusting things ever (besides stepping in dog poo!). I don't understand why people just can't throw their gum away properly!

Nothing worse on a hot summer day! I recently had some gum stuck to my shoe and it was a sticky mess, I finally got most of it off and left the rest until I got home. I always put the wrapper of my gum in my pocket and when I am finished chewing I wrap it and throw it in a trash can. If people just paid attention the world would be a cleaner place.

uh... it reminds me of the past... when i am still in the philippines i always experienced it twice a day or thrice... thats really disgusting especially if you have properly dressed!

The worst is when I sat on a chair and went to get up. The gum stuck to my pants and to the chair. What a mess! Corduroy pants, too. If they had been jeans, it would have been easy to get off, but cords, you can ruin if you don't do it right. Why can't people just go put their gum in a garbage can?

it happened to me long time ago. it is difficult to wash out if on your clothes,if under your shoes,it is also hard to clear it .i was mad with it . now,fortunately ,few people eat bubble gum,most of them are eating galm.that is ok.

Other than my school days I've never come across such a day where any chewing gum got stuck on my face or to my clothes or shoes. May be you can call me fortunate but I remember when I used to be a little kid and used to go to school religiously, several times I had felt my fingers sticking to a chewing gum nicely placed by some naughty classmate under my table. I used to say 'ugh' at that time but those memories bring smile on my face.

I hate the situation putting off that dirty gum on my shoes. There was also a time that I seated a gum and it sticked to my pants. It's hard to remove and some retains and made my pants so dirty. People are so irresponsible. They don't think that gum can cause danger to others too.

I experienced it for a few times and it's quite annoying. You know it's so difficult to remove it. And it's so embarrassing to do so in public. I think people shouldn't spit it out, they should use a tissue or paper to cover it and then throw it into the trashcan.

Yep, it happened to me I think once or twice and I know it’s really irritating. Imagine walking down the street with no care in the world then you suddenly realize that there are some trash that’s been following you because of the stuck gum in your shoe, ugh! And I do give out my best expletives too to whoever threw the gum. Such abhorrent behavior in a person.

yes it happened to me a few times and it also ruined some of my school uniforms back then. it's frustrating to have these people scatter their wastes and cause inconvenience to others. it's very inconsiderate of them!
