i can speak english, french, german, a bit of tagalog, a bit of japanese and a bit of chinese and one work in korean

I can speak English, Tamil,& Hindi. I knew Punjabi when I was child, but now I forgot it completely. My mother language is Tamil. The funny part is, I knew only Punjabi in my childhood and no tamil at that time. Now I forgot Punjabi... ;)

you must have been staying in Punjab during your childhood.
Now since I have moved out of Tamil nadu, I am beginning to get out of touch of Tamil.

Yes.. You are right ! My Father was in Air force, so I was staying in Jalandhar. Where were you staying in Tamilnadu earlier ?

I can speak English very well. I have also learned German and Spanish and am moderately good at those languages. I would love to become fluent in the, and would love to learn other languages, too. I think different languages are wonderful, and help keep the cultural identity of those who speak them.

I suppose that Hindi, Marathi and so on are all languages spoken in India, aren't they? What a marvellous country is yours..I have never been there but I am fascinated by your culture and I hope to come there once in my life..well I can speak my mothertongue language that is Italian, and English and I can speak a little but only a little of Spanish...I can also understand the language spoken in the Italian region where I was born that is the Neapolitan language and I hope I can learn as many language as possible because I like learning and learning languages too

Yeah, you are right. Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, etc are all languages spoken in different parts of India.
Marathi is my mother tongue and is spoken in Maharashtra State of India.
