How do you want your steak?

I like mine to be medium rare because the meat is tender, soft and juicy. The best partner for steak is mashed potato or the German noodle so as called spatzle. I tried eating steak before that's well done and I didn't like it at all. The meat was very hard and when you chew it, its like bubble gum.

I prefer my steak medium well. I'll agree that it tastes better when it's not as done, but I just can't bring myself to eat much that way. Just some pink in the middle for me, not red and oozing blood, I just can't bring myself to eat much that way. I like mashed potatoes or twice baked potatoes as a side.

I like eating mine rare, although I have had it well done before and it was still good - not tough or chewy. Maybe it depends on the cut of the meat?

It depends on my mood that day. Usually I go with a medium rare steak. I also really like it to be very flavorful. I just bought a flat iron steak from the store and plan to use a whole lot of grill seasoning when I grill it up. Some days, if I am at restaraut I will order it medium, but I really have to be in the mood for it.

I like my steak to be medium to medium-well. I love to have steak and macaroni and cheese together. Or a nice baked potato.

I like my steak rare or even "black and blue." If the meat is cooked too much I don't like the taste or the consistency. Sometimes it really freaks out my friends as to how rare I will eat my meat. I can't help it though. I was brought up in a family that always ate their meat (well really mostly beef) quite rare. I know that it isn't always the safest thing to eat my meat really rare, so I usually save it for times that I go to really nice restaurants where I know they will do it right.
